...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Nebraska...

  Platte River at Brady North Channel affecting Lincoln County.

.Flooding continues along the Platte River in southwest Nebraska.
The river is cresting and will begin falling Sunday. However the
river is expected to rise again late in the week into next weekend.
Through at least the first part of June, the river level will remain
near or above flood stage. Additional periodic rain chances continue
over the next week which may cause additional minor fluctuations.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety Message. Do not drive your vehicle into areas where water
covers the roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your
car to cross safely and the road beneath may not be intact. Vehicles
caught in rising waters should be abandoned quickly.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Platte River at Brady North Channel.
* until further notice.
* At 6:30 pm Saturday the stage was 8.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 7.5 feet.
* Forecast is for the river to begin falling Sunday to near 7.8 feet
  by Wednesday and then rise to 8.6 feet on Friday.
* Impact...At 9.0 feet...Moderate flood stage. West of Brady flooding
  occurs between McCullough Road and East Island Road and Interstate
  80. East of Brady flooding of agricultural land occurs near
  Interstate 80. Both of the north channels may overflow.

...The Flood Advisory continues for the South Platte River...

  South Platte River at North Platte affecting Lincoln County

.Rain continues to fall upstream on the South Platte River and
Colorado water management officials are releasing water from
several reservoirs in anticipation of heavy snow melt from the
mountains in June.

Additional rainfall chances next week and above normal late
season snow pack in the upper reaches of the river basin will
promote elevated flows along the South Platte River in southwest
Nebraska for the foreseeable future.

* At 4:45 pm Saturday the stage was 12.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will slowly fall to 11.5 feet on Tuesday and
  then rise to near 12.6 feet by next Saturday.
